Hey guys,

Want to build a new pc and really havnt got any ideas what to get.
Not that i dont know what to get, rather that i know whati want, just want too see what you lot can do!

I mainly want it for gaming and have a budget of a maximum of £575.
And mainly for warcraft as a game.

Recommended Specifications

Dual-core processor, such as the Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2
1 GB RAM (2 GB for Vista users)
3D graphics processor with Vertex and Pixel Shader capability with 128 MB VRAM such as an ATI Radeon X1600 or NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT class card or better
DirectX-compatible sound card or motherboard sound capability
Broadband Internet connection.
Multi-button mouse with scroll wheel recommended.

Do NOT Include The OS, i might get vista, xp or somthing yet, im not sure.

i want the graphics card to be an Nvedia 9600GT Or better
250GB HDD
An Intel core 2 duo prosessor mainly wanted
All good suggestions will get +REP!
Try to include links of where to buy (preflably Scan or ebuyer!) and prices.

AMD Athlon processor would be a better choice for gaming but Intel would be good for all-rounding. Which would you do more?
(If you go AMD, make sure your mobo supports it)
2 GB RAM will be enough, but of course you can have more, anything over 3 GB (?) will not be recognized in Windows XP, though.
Go for nVidia GeForce for your graphics card, I don't know what model you should go for but I'm told that 8800 GT(S/X) is good, but expensive.
As for HDD's, get two 500GB's or get a 1 TB drive, up to you, just make sure they're 7,200 RPM drives.

eBuyer links to those:
GeForce 8800 GTS: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138730
AMD Processors (I don't know about AMD's, so you'd have to pick one yourself.): http://www.ebuyer.com/store/Components/cat/Processors-AMD
Intel Processor: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131950 - I had this one, it's pretty awesome.
RAM: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/154644 - MAKE SURE YOUR MOBO WILL SUPPORT THIS TYPE!
HDD: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139739 - This seems like quite a good deal on 750 GB.

You didn't say if you want a mobo or not so I can't say what PSU you should have, someone else is going to know bit I've not got a clue.

Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mnouase, speakers, printer etc. included in the price? If not you will get quite a nice computer.

If you don't need Monitor/Keyboard/Mouse/Speakers then:

Yeah, it would run easily. I would say that possibly a Dell would be more fit for what you need if you can get a good deal. Keep an eye on www.rpoints.com/bb for deals :)
