iTunes isn't playing any songs, it's just on the same spot 0:00. I re-installed it aswell.

maybe a silly question but is your sound working on your pc? because i had that problem and i restarted and it worked :S

Are they the right file format for Itunes cause i've had this problem before and it was just the wrong file formats

Yes, it is working and I tried that too.

What format are they meant to be? Even in the iTunes store it can't play.

Happens with me all the time, I leave it for a bit like forget about it for a day then the next day it works

It's not an iTunes error, it's an audio error. Reinstall your audio driver, or perhaps system restore to a day when it worked.

I would actually do a system restore to the day it worked, http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/helpandsupport/learnmore/systemrestore.mspx

You don't lose any files in the process, it just changes any settings made after the date chosen, back to how they were set on the date chosen.

Windows Vista has system restore, does it hurt to type system restore vista into Google or can't you do that?
