iTunes wont let me restore iPod?

Itunes tells me i need to restore my ipod but when i try to do so I got the above error?

Go into your application data folder, then into the itunes folder, then you should see the firmware's you have had on your ipod, double click the one you want and itunes will install it on your ipod.

Restart your computer and boot your iPod into DFU mode by holding sleep and home together until it appears in iTunes, then let go of sleep and keep pressing home for five seconds. Then restore through that.

look at the timings, i was writing it whilst that was being posted. ;) why post that if it had been fixed and the thread is a day old. :/
