People usually just walk out when they get shot, if you go to a proper place though they'll have a referee I think or something.

depends really. it's much different to paintball as mainly only regulars go so everyone knows each other and respects hits and stuff. the pellets are so cheap although you can go through so many so quick. more tactical than paintball. you can have claymores, flashbangs, decent grenades etc

airsoft yes. not proper claymores, ofcourse. but proper flashbangs, just not the strongest ones.

BB guns you can get protective gear and shoot each other, plus if you're thinking about going on the police force or army, you've trained and handled BB guns and stuff.

Cheap ones like his arent good, where as if you spend £200 upwards you wil get one thats just as good as a paint ball gun.

You dont need a license to buy them, to get a RIF you just need to be a member of a airsoft site with PLI.

You get diffrent weights and things like that. The more weight the more they cost. anything from 0.2g - 0.3g is good for a Rifle, pistol or shotgun. 0.3g - 0.4g you will want in a sniper rifle.

I play twice a month, my first rifle cost £210. which is this one here (http://www.airsoftmart.net/catalog/m4a1-retractable-stock-p-563.html)
Now i have that with a M203 on it, shot gun, M249, M9 and Hi capa 3.8.

Ive probs spent well over £1000 since i started, on weapons, ammo and game fees. But i've had the most fun ever and made some awesome mates!

Thats a mint site, its wayy cheaper than paintballing. The flamethrowers arent avalible in the UK, same with the RPG. the only thing your allowed to propell thro the air assisted by other than your hand is illegal.

I always use to buy handgun BB guns that where pretty powerfull cos theres no need to spend loads of cash on gas bb guns or out like that cos they are to powerfull. you try to have a laugh with a mate and you would end up hospitalising them lol. they look pretty sick and you seriously dont want somet to powerfull if your gonna use it with your mates. **REMOVED**.

In all honesty I love BB guns still, I prefer airsofting to paintballing as it is a lot more tactical especially when you are playing MilSim. I am hoping you got your self a decent AEG and not a spring loaded rifle because that just takes the joy out of air softing.

Only problem I have found with airsofters is that you have to shoot the other bugger a thousand times before they admit they have been shot and leave the game unlike paintballing where you leave a visible mark.

I just hope you use it in an adult manner I mean don't get me wrong shooting your friends in the leg in your own back garden is great fun but there are ways you can use them very irresponsibly.

Also check out High Cap mags and auto winders if your going to airsoft there is nothing worse then being caught in gunfire and have to sit there like a goon winding your mag up.

I still do a lot of shooting and enter practical and clay shooting competitions. Those people who stereotype people as juvenile or chavish because they own their own gun need to do some serious growing up themselves.

I own 2 CO2 Air Pistols, 1 Shotgun (proper) and 1 Air Rifle 1 AEG M16 BB Rifle and Walther P99 BB Gun with gas blowback. and I wouldn't consider myself chavvish in anyway shape or form. Thankfully I got all of mine about 5 years ago before the new laws came out meaning they actually look preety awesome.
