Are they worth getting for the £200/£300 mark?
Thanks.

No they are not. They do not even have the Intel Processors, which most Mac programs run on nowdays.
I would get a Windows laptop (you can get one with Intel Core2Duo and 2GB Ram for £350) or save up for at least the White MacBook, if not the Aluminium one.
Hope this helps.

There is one on ebay for current bid £115, is this worth it?
I can't afford anything over £300 and was looking for a cheapo good laptop.

Thread starter, please note that this man hates Mac and therefore makes his opinions odd.
You could go for a PowerBook, but I've gotta know why? Is it just because you don't want to pay £1,000 or more for a new Mac?
Go for it if you can get used to a non-Intel processor architecture though.

Could you explain the difference? Between a intel procesoor in a laptop, and not?
