Ok basically:

-A few weeks ago I was on my laptop and norton started popping up with Trojan blocked Trojan blocked virus blocked A LOT.
-When I unplugged my internet all this stopped.
-I did ipconfig /release and /renew and now when my internet's in the virus alerts don't come up which is good but...
-When I log on I get messages that pop up saying like 'C://Timothy/Local/Temp/blahblahblah was unable to open' or something like that.
-On my virus history it says that when I start up 'qttsk.exe made 1704 changes to your start up (number changes and the .exe file is quicktime)' which I find pretty worrying...
-I've done a full system scan but nothing comes up.

-Help me?

Oh and also:
My virus protection is Norton and I'm not on the laptop anymore I'm on a new one I got for christmas but I still want to fix the old one.

Go to the location which it cannot open.

And delete the file?

Well that was my plan but:

-It seems to change with every new message
-I'm quite computer illiterate and I don't know how to get there :eusa_whis

Oh and also I tried a system restore but that had an error.

This has happened many a time to myself, pretty scary isn't it?
Does the warning keep coming up, even today?
If it doesn't, you're fine, if it does, I think you're still fine. Maybe just a new add-on?

Tim download NOD32 as a trial, it's the best anti virus, use this serial to activate it:

Username:EAV-09271679
Password:732d72wbj8

That will defiantly sort out your virus problems.

laughing louder than normal and blushing when someone takes the micky out of porn

wish you the best of luck tim, its a dangerous path

Downloading two anti viruses is a bad idea, as they can clash. Download the better one which in this case is NOD32.

Two Anti-Viruses won't fix the problem, instead making it worse.

Thanks for repeating.

Don't download any antivirus, just nuke your harddrive and reinstall your OS.

If you do that, make sure you have the OS disk's, when you nuke it everything is gone
