Cos in the first one the light green & yellow are connected differently :S

i know thats what i was thinking but ive got it now. if you look at the diagonal lines theyre very slightly curved which creates enough space for a gap if that makes sense

cause they took the orange block down. the first position was the bottom two blocks linked on the space next to the green one. second position they put the top three blocks into that place and because theres only two at the bottom theres one space left whereas the two at the top fit in. idk if u understand what i just said coz i don't:(
