because the judge wants to stay popular, maybe the footballer pays to not go to jail. Its taken into account that its a celeb etc..
usual stuff.

Any person has to be charged before they go to prison, so I don't know what you mean? It all depends on each case, how much evidence they have etc...

Stevie G is a ****. He is involved in gang crime. He used to get beaten up by two members of a Liverpool gang until he paid another gang to sort it out. He's been a **** ever since.
Because a human rights leader can be jailed for 20 years and an pop star can get away with assault, murder and possibly taking over West Yorkshire with only a thousand dollar fine or a slap on the back of the hand

This is ridiculous. If they had proof for example David Beckham killed someone and there was no doubt it was him he'd be treated like every other single criminal.

It's always been like this for famous people. <_<, They should get treated like normal people do!

I think the only thing that could be argued here is that famous people can settle some things out of court in cash settlements which isn't really unfair because they have earned that money and it's something both parties agree too. Other than that they are not treated differently.

Thats like the question:
"Why do footballers get paid millions of pounds to run around a pitch when a doctor, saving people's lives on a daily bases only gets 60k?"
i don't think you understand the concept of "charging" somebody lol.

because if steven gerrard went to jail, he would probably be killed. it's ABH, not as bad as GBH is it now.

because all they can do is kick a ball around therefore they don't really have any intelligence so probably get out on a charge of guilty due to stupidity
because they have lots of ££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ lol

They have to go through a court process or a hearing aswell. These themselves are often months after the incident.
The majority of A-C List Celebs can get away with a lot.
For example.
In 2003 i think, Ray Lewis (pro american football linebacker) was seen stabbing and killing somebody just before the Super Bowl (the big win in american football) and he got away with it, and played in the Super Bowl, and still plays to this day.
Nothing happens to celebs.

it's cause they can afford the best barristers and solicitors, to be fair though if it was any normal person that did what he did they wouldn't go to prison for it, it'd be a pretty similar outcome
