How long has your xbox lasted?

ive had mine for about 3 years now without any problems, but i have noticed its started to get a bit louder when its starting up

I've had vairous Xbox's in that period, white one till the Elite came out, then I got Elite last year for Christmas, still going strong. By the way you should invest in one of them official fan things, they helped me a lot by keeping it ventelated as I used to play a lot after school :P

Should ring Micro$oft up and get one free :P Loads of people here have scored bare free stuff from M$, just say it wouldn't turn on or anything and the store wouldn't refund you as it's not their fault that it was faulty so you just threw it in the bin then your mate told you they could have fixed it or w/e and they should send you a replacement ;)

And about a week. I just say its not working etc they say try this im like yeah not working they say OK were sending a new one. If they say send it back to us just go yeah agree and everything and they still send it!

Got some games for it, and it got the RRoD like the third time I played it late 2006.

Two years later, nothing has happened to it since.

I had one Xbox in 2006 but I sold it to my mate in '07. I bought my other mates one which has been working since November 2005 (launch date) & only a few days ago it's RROD'd for the first time in 3 years. I'm gonna get it repaired this week by some guys since its out of warranty.

My old ones broke and he had to send it back :D:D:D

Elite BTW, though it was E74 (1 Red Ring) not RROD. My mates had RROD 3 times on his HDMI Premium and his was only 3 weeks older.

I had mine before Xbox 360 was released from a friend that tests the consoles and stuff. It hasnt broken or got rrod. I think he gave me a special one :P I must say RROD spoils the console...everything else is sick!

lol every 9 - 11 months i take my Xbox back to Currys and say its got RROD and cuz its still got 1 year warranty they take it back get a new one every 9 or 11 months :P

LOL NO it doesnt give you an actual 3 red lights, its just what people use to take pictures of the lights instead of bricking their xbox. :P

Only had RROD once, I got xbox the first day it came out, Although its totally faulty if theres no disk in the drive and i close it and i re-open it doesnt open i have to forcefully get it open. And it jams
but well worth it!

Got my Xbox repaired last night, fixed and all well. :D The guy said it's not guaranteed to fix it forever, but if left in good condition it'll be alright.

ANOTHER 4 YEARS IN THE GOOD BOX YET.
