View Full Version : How do you install shockwave on wine?

I can download it from adobe.com because it says your platform does is not compactible with shockwave.

So has anyone got any links please.

Is it possible to install wine using a terminal?

I would most likely like to have a link which i can then download and open with wine.

Install FF/IE on wine then install shockwave on that "wined" browser.

Yeah download the windows version and install it on wine.

Wined ff sucks with things like shockwave, flash, java though tbh. You may find that it will be slow and sluggish. (When my laptop broke and I had to use my ubuntu one I couldn't go on habbo due to it being to slow and d/cing after 1min)

Yeah i agree, habbo is very slow takes like 1 minute to move and go into
a room. I'm having problems install flash. Have you tried IE with wine?
I think Linux sucks as a whole. Windows is just so much easier.

I disagree. I like Linux better than Windows (when I ran Ubuntu off my laptop I ran unity mode with VirtualBox and had Linux and XP :D).

Linux isn't intended for people to play Flash games on. It's mainly a development OS.
