Has anybody got any ideas on how to speed up UTorrent? I've seen some Youtube videos that have videos downloading at 2gb/s but the figures to change in the settings menu are blurred. Anybody got any advice? Thanks. :D

1. Make sure the Bandwidth Allocation for the file is set to 'High'
2. Find a torrent with more Seeds.
3. Stop Illegally Downloading Mens Bottoms ;)

Cap the upload speed in the client to around 80% of it's max.

Download the new BETA utorrent 1.9 It enables a new form of protocol called UTP (I think?) Which ISP haven't blocked yet and may actually speed up your connection.

Heres the link to utorrent's forum (http://forum.utorrent.com/viewtopic.php?id=49813), Which has the download link for 1.9 on :)

I've always set the downloading programme to High Priority through Task Manager which seems to help me.
