So I somehow got a few trojans the other day, I did what I could to remove them but it looks like they've mucked up my settings, or perhaps they haven't been fully removed. Whenever I try to open the task manager it says it has been disabled by the adminstrator. I am the administrator and I have done nothing. I am certain this is some kind of malware or virus, and I can fix it, but whenever I do, after I restart my computer or shut it down and come back to it the next day it's back to how it was and my task manager is disabled again. While looking around various websites to try and fix it, one of them said to edit it through the registry editor, so I tried to open that but registry editing has been disalbed also. I reset everything back to it's default option with some UnHookExec thing, which worked, until I reset my computer. Now it's disabled again. I ran a virus and spyware check yesterday, which I thought it worked but obviously it hasn't.
What should I do to get around this? I can get everything working again, but only temporarily. Should I run another virus check just to make sure everything has been removed, or is there something else I can do about it?
Would deleting the restrcitions on the task manager and registry editor completely be a smart move?
