View Full Version : Buying a LCD TV
Right since I now have a wall to fill I want to put a TV on it. I've never purchased or had an interest in TVs before so it's proving difficult to find a good one and if I do I don't have a clue if it's good :P Would appreciate anyone's help in finding a good TV to these specs;
LCD (not Plasma)
37" - 42"
1080p
HD (full/ready)
Built in Freeview (HD a plus)
HDMI inputs (1 or more)
VGA (PC input)
Scart inputs (2 or more)
RGB inputs (1 or more)
Wall mountable
Under 25cm in depth
Sleep timer (a plus!!!)
I'm looking to spend anywhere up to £600. I've found one but there's not many reviews of it so I can't judge it's quality;

In order of how good they are. The Sony at John Lewis is slightly cheaper in Argos, but the 5 year garuntee is worth it.

That was one of my dislikes about it, as in the picture it looks rather old and out dated. As I'm very much about how the TV looks too. Plus I've never used or watched a Toshiba TV before so I'm worried about the quality.
