A senior Hamas leader has been killed by an Israeli air strike on his home in the Gaza Strip, Hamas officials say.

Nizar Rayyan, the most senior Hamas figure to be killed since 2004, had urged suicide attacks against Israel.

I can see 2 things wrong with that post.

Hamas aren't even terrorists anyway, it's the UK & US & Israel who give them that reputation and some of the UK Media. Hamas have stopped all the corruption and hostages etc in the Gaza Strip, when Fatah was in control it was gunmen in the streets constantly. The US & UK Government has actually funded Fatah (Who control the West Bank/Palestine and formally Gaza) to attack Hamas so they can regain control in Gaza.

Hamas has been very good for Gaza and yes you're right, they're defenceless so it's shameless of the Israeli's to attack them.

During the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan & Afghani Civil War in the '80s. America couldn't go to war with the Soviet Union over it (god forbid, they wont pick a fight they might lose) so the CIA trained and funded the resistance fighters, most of which being the Taliban.

Why shouldn't Israel attack Palestine? Israel want to just get the conflict over and done with. Hamas and Hezbollah have long attacked Israel. They're trying to over-run Israel. Great idea there. Israel take no prisoners. Hamas should have learnt by now that Israel doesn't care. Israel just want to get rid of Hamas. Innocent Israelis have been killed, now Hamas can have some of it's own country killed.

Yeah because Israel is the good guy here... they steal land and wonder why their new neighbours don't like them, then when they're attacked for righteous reasons they kill a load of civilians. Israel is far closer to a terrorist site than the Hamas group.

Bite the hand that feeds I guess. They ended up coming into power and harboring/supporting Al Qaeda who attacked America. When the U.S discovered they were linked, I guess it was convenient they supported them in secret. Communism was a bigger threat than Muslim Extremism. No matter, the Taliban fell within weeks.
I had a really interesting lecture about this at Aberystwyth Uni, I'll try and get the reading materials 'cause it pretty much summed it up really clearly.

BBC are often anti-semetic in their reports so I wouldn't be suprised if they'd managed to pursuade some of you that Israel has no right to attack.
