If you don't know how to define friend then your social skills must be pretty awful?

You're all kidding right either you trust too many people or you haven't got many friends. You don't need trust for a friendship just a mutual liking, you lot are describing close or even best friends. I have friends I don't even know the surname of but they're still friends because I enjoy their company

and i have trust issues so have many acquaintances and not many friends. if you get what i mean
personally, i think a friend is someone i can trust enough so im comfortable with them. a friend is someone who tells me point blank what they dont like about me, what i do wrong. a friend is someone who listens and not judge. best friends, close friends, theyre still friends.

A real friend is someone who:
a)it's okay to fart in front of.
b)you don't mind talking to on the bus for atleast 20 minutes.
c)can borrow £5 and never has to pay it back
d)you'll actually call up do stuff.

thats more of a true friend. id like that in a friend. unfortunately, i havent met one whos been able to be honest about anything. + i always doubt most so thats prolly bad too lol
and i know i will always remember a friend (or oncce was my friend)
A better one is:
A person attached to another by feelings of affection or personal regard. A person who would never intentionally hurt you, lie to you, deceive you, manipulate you, and who takes great care to be kind to you, honest with you, dependable and loyal. Someone who you trust without question because he/she has never given you any reason not to trust. Someone you enjoy being around and look forward to seeing. Someone who would sacrifice him/herself for you.

Like I said, some people either trust too readily or haven't got many friends if they truly believe their definitions
For me its somebody who you enjoy spending time with as do they.
Also you got each others backs.
