Haul 4 tonnes of reinforced GRP hull up 85 feet of steep, slippery incline. Heave it over a near vertical drop pointed at a 3 million gallon lagoon. The impact is 1.5 G's. 3 tonnes of water turns to stinging vapour. And this is FUN?

A lot of people's favourite ride is always the newest addition, or the coasters. Not mine. Back in 2000 when Thorpe was still a Baby, a monster was born in the shape of Tidal Wave, an 85 ft giant immediately showing off its 40 foot wave when you enter the park. See Tidal Wave isn't just about the ride, its Total devestation. The site of Amity Cove perfectly sets the scene for H2Overload, a red and yellow boat hitting the splash zone sending a wave careering towards Pier 13, and the small harbour town. This isn't just a ride, its an experience and one of Thorpes very best.

Relax on the lazy river where all is not what it seems.

Enjoy being gently carried upstream before being submerged into darkness and plummeting 20ft into the unknown. Riders are given just enough time to convince themselves that the worst is over, when they are propelled over a 50ft drop before coming to a soaking wet stop.

Sunken boulders and rapids jolt and jostle beleaguered victims. This white water experience lasts for 7 wet, wild, lurching minutes. It seems much, much longer.

Oo what a gr8 day :)

Got ther and went on nemesis,ended going on that 7 times :o then went on that x pitch black or summit like that,wer u go backwards in dark bout 4 times,went on tidal wave 1ce tho,went on rapids twice and first time geuss who i saw on it :o :o :o GARY LINEKAR :o :o :o was cool,but he was alredy on and we wer in que,went on the log flume like 3 times that was a laff,went on colussus once aswell,a gr8 day all round and the journey wasnt bad and we had a sweet fight on bus and bundles on way back :P

No :o they were on a diff bus so it was me kieran,fordy moses and dave lol,but the stuff ur lot do is extreme,and extremely funny! u lot shud see it :P
