View Full Version : LOTR: Conquest
I am so buying this game, it sounded like a strategy and the second I noticed it was made by Pandemic it instantly hit my "wish list" for 2009, if you don't know who Pandemic are then play all I can say is - Star Wars: Battlefront, it is pretty much SW:BF but in a LOTR style, the demo is awesome too, I definitly think anyone that enjoys battlefront should check this out.

Yep it's epic, will never beat battlefront but it's a good replacement until battlefront 3 comes out. :P
Think this game you can play as who you want?

What you mean? xD
Battlefront 3 isn't being made by Pandemic/Who ever bought Pandemic out, its being made by Rebellion who made the PSP exclusive Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron, in which they threw the classes out the window which I hate/d and made some terrible customise player replacement.
I read on Wiki the Demo for this was out on PSN, so I bought a PS3 (LBP + Resistance also contributed to the decision :P) and can't find it on PSN. Never tried Marketplace as I've been on LBP since I got the PS3.
But I'l definatly get this, whether on 360 or PS3 is my new dilemma :(

Ok...? o.O
Every Battlefront game has been good, renegade squadron was still a good game, I do hope they stick to classes as it was pretty balanced and really didn't need a change.
What you mean? xD
I mean like while fighting you can be ranger all the way threw game etc

Ah yea you should be able too apart from when you have to play as a hero class.
Good =] when is this out
Umm..I think it's out on the 16th. xD
I'll be pre-ordering next week possibly.
Ahh might get my bro to order it for my bday ;)

19th January according to WikiPedia. Might get this a while after release, mainly due to Resistance 2 and PlayTV being main priority, but I still cannot find the demo on PSN.
EDIT: Oh yeah and BFIII, some player models leaked: http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/941/941216p1.html

Games very, very rarely get released on a monday in the UK so I highly, highly doubt it'll be released then, the 16th is the more likely date since it's the first friday after the NA release which is normally when the UK get games.
Edit - Also the demo is the the 360 marketplace so just get it there if you have an xbox.
Yeah, GAME has it as the 16th so 12 days it is.
