My girlfriends phone

She has a Nokia 3650 she loves the design, She hasn't modded it in anyway

Today she turns it on and gets to the Nokia startup screen and freezes and can't continue any further.

My questions are:

1) Is there anyway I can fix it We don't have the datacable (If anyone can give me detailed instructions that work I will +rep them and get them a little thank you IRL present)

2) Failing that if it can't be fixed via question 1, would a reflash of the OS fix it? like at a mobile phone shop?

3) Does anyone know how much I'm looking at for a reflash

it'll have the series 60 platform on it, reflash might work but not certain, it's about a fiver if you do it yourself but expect to pay double that or even 4x that at a phone shop because they're all robbing bar stewards. (check out how much the data cable is, it's proably cheaper if you buy one and do it yourself)

Yeah its running a S60 platform, Does it sound like the OS has messed?

So if I get it reflashed it'll be sorted?

it *might* be sorted but I can't say for definate, I don't want to waste your money lol..

your best bet is to ask on a proper mobile forum like esato or something, there's loads of phone techheads on there who'll probably be able to sort you out better than I can :P

Took it in, the guy is charging me £5 because he got nostalgic when he saw the phone and all it needs is a simple reflash
