I would certainly give them a call, they could well be waiting to talk to you, before they issue you with a new card, and as I've no idea of your age, it could well be that there is another account that's more suitable than your existing Adapt account, assuming that is you are with NatWest.

Take a look at their site so that before you speak with them you are well versed. I'm sure you know the link, but in case you don't www.natwest.com and read up ;)

I am also with natwest, they are probably taking a little longer because they are changing your account type (because you are turning 18 soon).

Just a thought, but certainly give a ring and see where it is. Cards are sent by courrier so maybe you weren't in when it was sent and was returned to the bank with no notice to you.

Sometimes with natwest they arrive 2 weeks before expiry, Sometimes they are taken to the branch,

If you have received it 10working days before the end of the month call them. They are legally NOT allowed to withold a card until you call for one and they try and sell, it could be tied up in the post, delivered to branch

Cards are sent by royal mail NOT courier unless its sent with Secure MAil services (Only credit cards are sent this way)

Its either got lost or its on its way don't worry until friday ;)

Speaking of them, my account was supposed to be updated in September to a Current Plus (I think) account, but the card expires next month :S

I'd certainly give them a ring, you haven't lost the card under heaps of paper work, have you? :P

wanna hear something even more strange... My card wasn't supposed to expire until 2010 however due to some security mess up I had to be sent a new one and now my new one expires 6 months earlier :S

I love how people on here think the bank are trying to sell you something when it clearly comes under the FSA guidelines/Banking code that they can't withold a card without a valid reason and selling isn't one

Give them a ring, Have you moved recently?

They'll send you a new bank card before yours expires. If your account type needs to be changed because of age or whatever then they do it automatically. Well that's what happens with RBS.
