The Prom [Dates?]

Yeah, so my prom promises to be good, hopefully. But like I have a really good girl mate who's basically my date if niether of us find a date, and I have no problem with that. But this girl called, I'll call her "D", shes asked me to the prom, but shes like a total party goer, has hair extensions, drastic amounts of bizarre coloured foundation and in with the chavvy crowd in our school + I dont know if it's important but shes promises that I'll definatley be getting a little treat on the night of the prom. So I'm like, "woo" my first time, and then my thought trails on "...is going to be with a basically fake girl although hot.." So what do I do? Go with a valued mate who's extreamly nice, find a date myelf or go with this girl who idealy I do like and promises to look fine and says Im in for sumfin good. What shall I do?

i remember few weeks before the prom my friend tom was going with his ***** who seriously ******* about all her friends behind their backs so i decided to steal him, she was well gutted

Our prom is been regulated... only people with 90% attendance, no more than 10 lates are allowed and loads of other stupid rules

But yeah, go for the one which will get people talking, it's probably the last time you'll see most of them so leave them with a high :]

I found that not being American, prom dates were irrelevant... The main part of the fun was everyone having a major laugh and enjoying the last amount of time we all really had together. Although, if I was to be less old-man-ish, I'd say go with D.

Well.. depends what you want! If you want a night with someone that could, in the long run turn into something much more serious and lead to 'something good' often, then I would suggest going with the good friend or with someone else you find and are interested in.

If, however, you aren't as concerned with something more meaningful.. Go with D. It'll make it a night to remember, if she makes good on her promise! But then again, if she doesn't, you'll potentially have lost the chance to have a good prom (but I dont know how important prom is to you.. it was a huge deal for me, but I'm american so whatever :D)

So in the end, it comes down to if you want some satisfaction at the end of the night, or have a comfortable good time for the first part of the night :) If you think you'll have a good time with D though, then by all means go for it!
