Always sign highly rated players (modric,dos santos,bent,bale Downing coming up) then they turn out to be very poor.

I'd say that the media has the biggest influence. Take Gomes for example, without the media spotlight as of late, he has been producing top drawer performances. Before hand, every performance was being scrutinised and pundits picking at his game - knocking his confidence.

Modric has been playing well, 3 goals in his last 5 I think.
Dos Santos has been injured.
Bent has done OK, this is his first season really- he spent the last one on the bench.
Bale was injured for most of last season and is still young (which is why Harry hasn't played him lately)
and Downing hasn't signed.

Downing isnt signing, Bent has (IMHO) done enough to stay in the 11. Im an Arsenal fan aswell. Er, Modric took time but is getting better and apparently they are going to sell Dos Santos

Nah, Redknapp said in a press conference a while ago when he was first injured that he was looking forward to working with him. I don't think spurs would let him go that easily, especially to the minor mexican clubs have have been linked with him.

We have no left footed players though, if he was fit then we wouldn't be playing Bentley on the left!

Never trust The Sun, alot of their sports information can be ********.

But, last year we was like this and gained a few places and the cup to the end.
