Virgin Media Broadband Currently Down?

Over past few days, the "online" light on my V+ box has just flashed and the internet has been up, down, up down. Then the TV, now the internet again.

It says Broadband is down :/

anyways, i pulled the card outta the back of my V+ box and blew it, shoved it back in then the box reset itself and it's fine. I bet it'll mess up again tomorrow :/

anyone else having these problems??

Mines been going on and off all day, was down for hours earlier. My belkin router keeps giving me "Internet: No Connection"

I haven't had a problem for the past 2hours or so, but from 12 till 6 it was going off all the time.

Well I went out for a bit in the afternoon, but I was around before six and didn't have a problem. Maybe its your area or was it a nationwide problem?

They were probably setting up the 50Mbps service.

Might have been Wales, some other people have been going on and off. Don't know who their with though.

I know the exact reason for all this and you should too (Unless whoever pays for your internet hasn't told you)

Virgin media sent round a letter saying they were carrying maintenance out in the early morning hours (when the least amount of people were online) they said you will have to reset (just turn off and on) your modem etc whatever you have with them.

They say many will experience greater surfing speeds and a better service.

when im in my bed at like 2am my router will flash on saying internet down but laptop internet works still and its still showing computers getting it :P

I didn't get a letter :s Wait afew weeks for it :P I reset my router multiple times, thinking that was the problem. But it isnt for once.

Got another letter from virgin confirming that the date will be the 19th so the problems you are having now have no known reason. Maybe virgin are aware of the problem and that is what they will be trying to fix when they start maintanence.
