LONDON UNDERGROUND
A near normal service is expected to run on most lines on Friday.

There are no services on the Hammersmith and City and Circle lines.

There will be restricted services across the District line with no service between High St Kensington and Edgware Road and no service to Olympia. There will be a reduced Wimbledon to High St Kensington service.

On the Metropolitan line there will be no service from Baker Street to Aldgate but a near normal service will operate north of Baker Street.

On the Piccadilly line services will run from Heathrow to Hyde Park Corner every five minutes, Acton Town to Rayners Lane shuttle every 10 minutes, and ****fosters to Arnos Grove every 10 minutes.

Replacement bus services will operate from Arnos Grove to Finchley Central for transfer to the Northern line.

It is hoped a replacement bus service will operate along the northern section of the Circle line.

TRAINS
All London mainline stations have reopened and are expected to run a normal service, with the exception of King's Cross.

It is hoped there will be some services from King's Cross, but there may not be any intercity trains.

Docklands Light Railway is operating normally, but will not stop at Bank.

Eurostar's London to Paris service is running, although passengers travelling from the continent are being advised not to travel to London.

BUSES
The buses are running, although there are suspensions and diversions around King's Cross, Aldgate and Russell Square.

A Transport for London spokeswoman said: "Regular extra security checks are being carried out on all buses, at bus stations and garages.

"We have also got police officers and wardens at key locations in central London."

PLANES
Flights are operating normally at the capital's airports, and the express services to them are all running to their normal timetables.

But travellers are being urged to arrive at airports early to allow plenty of time to check in as security checks are at maximum.

ROADS

Roads around the explosion sites remain closed

The congestion charge will continue to be suspended on Friday.

However, police are still recommending people try to avoid driving in central London. Woburn Place and Aldgate High Street are expected to remain closed until Saturday morning at the earliest.

Yeah all the buses are running near me, I'm not that nervous about getting on a bus, but there is no way I'm getting on a train anytime soon.

:o I think something similar to those devices were in the Madrid bombings. apparently there was a package on the trains in Madrid with a phone signal coming out of it, and when that signal was rang the bomb went off. maybe that could have been the devices used yesterday?
