What are we expecting for the xbox 720?

Right this is a thread, I was wondering what ideas do you have for the xbox 720?

For me

Same controller
Plays xbox 360 games
Internet
Loads of movies
Bigger harddrive
Harddrive from xbox 360 fits in xbox 720

Games will be Full HD.
Currently most games are only 720p.
Downloadable games such as 4200 MS points a game instead of going to shop and pick it up.
4200 MS points roughly equals £40.
Internet
More player intergration such as Netflix being shifted to Europe.

They already have gaming for Vista so just use your gamertag on the PC and use a wireless reciever made by Microsoft then you can use your 360 controller and game on your PC :P

They are made to run in 720p.
They can be ran in 1080p but they'll only display graphics of 720p.

I don't think they need more, they need decent ones. Tbh though I don't like the whole family gaming thing, gets on my nerves how everyone is meant to enjoy it like a social occasion.

Xbox 720 is not what it's all, even if it's that now that's probably only a prototype name, they will not name it that purely because it's a stupid as hell name, at least 360 sounds half decent.

Them pictures are a load of rubbish, so is the name. They have been around for years, the ball shaped Xbox is old you can see the Xbox original disc in it.

I'd like;

Bigger HDs (Now you can store games).
Reduced noise
Lot less bulkier
Wi-fi built in.

All I'd really want from it.

the xbox 360 is just the console title, like the nintendo wii.
the most they had was the nes & the snes.
but they've all got different names, like gamecube, wii etc.

it'll have a different name. i doubt it'll be a sequelled name, like the playstation.

i'd like net browsing. although, there was rumours that'd happen with the new dashboard update. so maybe they'll update it & add it the the 360?
it'd be nice if they improved live, to decrease the amount of lag etc.

There would always be lag because some people have Tesco & Walmart Broadband so they get bad speeds and cause us to lag, internet browsing would be quality if you wanna watch movies online while relaxing in your bed instead of sitting infront of the computer with your back straight and having to keep getting up and down to play the next part. :P

It maybe something more like xbox infinite or something i dunno i doubt it will be followed by any numbers if it is called an xbox.

But new tech will be out so i think they will go a totally different way and not even name it xbox something. Only time will tell.

Microsoft hasn't even mentioned the successor to the Xbox 360 yet but I very much doubt it'll come in 2009, we're looking at 2010-2012, the console still hasn't been confirmed and the name not even mentioned so everything is just a rumour.

Surely that'll be a 'code name,' not an actual name? Like the Wii was code named revolution and the GameCube was code named Dolphin. Unless they're completely terrible at coming up with names, it shouldn't be called 720 when it comes to release.

I'd buy one if:

- They have built-in WiFi
- Large HDD
- Decent assortment of games, I can only seem to find racing and first person shooters. Any other genre is usually crap looking or crap in general :P
- A media centre.
- Sleek, modern design. Nothing too futuristic, as it just won't fit in with the decor of most homes. The Wii and PS3 fit in with any room they're in, because they're white and/or black.

No it probably won't be, and imo I reckon Xbox Live shouldnt be free but it should be cheaper/a one time cost. It's an excellent service just the cost is a burden I suppose.

If they made XBL say a one time payment of £50 or w/e I think it'd be better but the reason the 360 is so cheap atm is cause they do make a lot of their profit from XBL and wireless adaptors etc (maybe the wireless might not be built in?)
