Not seen it either but hope to. It's one of those films you actually want to watch properly so you can enjoy it fully.

Looks brilliant, the trailer was great. Apparently these are the types of films we will all be watching (feel good/happy films) because of the depression that is widespread around the nation caused by the credit crunch and unemployment.
Regardless this film looks excellent.

Doesn't that statement kind of contradict itself? If I was in a bad state financially I a) wouldn't go and see a film anyway because I wouldn't be able to afford it and b) wouldn't see a film about some guy who won a load of money. Ha.
Either way, I want to go and see it.

Very original concept, and fantastic cinematography and just gave a fantastic view of India and how their lives change over time. Still, I completely agree with Mint, I really thought it was pretty good, but that's it, nothing mindblowingly good like I was expecting. I can see why people loved it though, maybe I just had too high expectations.

Your uncle is danny boyle?
no... lol... my uncle's:

saw this film today, thought it was brilliant but the storyline wasn't that great as
what are the chances that he knows all the answers to the questions through past events in his life..
nevertheless I thought that the flashbacks through his life were very good and gives a good image (maybe the film emphasised a bit) of Indian culture
