MCR - Obsessed?

I hate everything about emos and stuff like that (no offence) and I'm obsessed with MCR. Lol. Anyone else like this?

yeah they're okay, i liked them back in 2003 when they were like "were not emo" but now they're the biggest emo icon..

I listend back when they were alright, they went downhill from Three Cheers imo.

Their first album was absolutely amazing for a debut. It could have been a Post Hardcore bible if they hadn't gone as poppy with Three Cheers.

Other way around sorry, their pop-punk stuff far better suits them and sounds a lot better. Their "hardcore" sound was absolutely awful frankly, it really had nothing to it

Probably because that's the image most associated with them. I think The Sharpest Lives from The Black Parade is a great mix of both and Disenchanted is one of my favourites, but I still haven't found a song by them which matches songs like Drowning Lessons, Headfirst for Halos, Cubicles and Demolition Lovers.

I don't like them - strictly electro thanks - but I know a lot of people who are like you. Not emos or anything of the sort but are seemingly addicted to MCR.

mcr is for 8 year olds. if you are 8 this explains your fascination with them(!)
