Need it to be flat screen

Richer Sounds have some decent deals in store and at John Lewis you get a free 5 year guarantee and they will price match any store within something like a 9 mile radius. I recommend going and having a look. With a TV it's a lot about what you think about it. Obviously you can compare the specs on paper, but it's whether or not you like the picture it produces that mainly counts.

Just to let you know as there have been a couple of people I know who have bought a TV which in the description says "flat screen" therefore expecting the TV to be thin. However that term refers to the actual screen on the TV, as normally on the old tube TVs they had a curved screen.

Always look out for flat panel display.
