This is very dissapointing, all of there websites are currently down which is putting me at a loss with my shoutcast server, I thought i had found a company with minimal downtime, 5mins max, They have been down all day so far

They probably have college or something, so they will be unable to sort this problem at the moment. I have every faith in the company, and I am sure they will get it back up and running ASAP.

Perhaps matt will email all the customers and explain :)

I dont see the need to draw attention to this, he told us all he was changing servers, it may not be the reason, but it is most likely?

Its not a good enough reason though collage. These people pay for a service and they expect to get it. If hes at collage ect they should make arrangements and plan just incase something like this ever happens.

Hello,

I am very sorry about the downtime today. It was due to an error in the server that had not been filled up. I had left my computer expecting everything to be fine and after about an hour of downtime, could not find the problem. I have spent over 3 hours trying to get it working. I do apologise for the inconvenience caused to everyone.

Blanky12: As is said on the SHOUTcast front page (shoutcast.mr-host.com), our system is experiencing a bug. You can stream as usual but your stream will appear offline. I hope to fix this in the next hour or so.

Once again, sorry for the problems caused.

Regards,

Matt B
Mr Host Management

Thanks for the explanation - See guys.

But really making a thread about the site, is just giving him bad rep.

+ did you get my email matt?

Ive had that problem, check your RAM. My cast-control shows streams as offline when RAM is in full use. To solve mine I just upgraded the RAM on the server, simple fix :)

Hi,

If you PM me the subject of the email, I'll take a look right now.

I don't think it is the RAM, but I will take a look.

Thanks for your help.

The only reason you are saying this is because it's your company in dispute, lmao.

It was finished in anyways then a trialest forum moderator bumped it
