Ok recently purchased a new router, the Belkin F5D8631-4 and am having trouble getting it out of Strict NAT.
I'v tried the usual UpnP, DMZ, Virtual Servers and it just aint working, unless I have configured it wrongly :S
Additional ideas? Or additional support on making sure I configured it right plz?

You can still play xbox with a strict NAT, your just limited to who you play with.
If i was you i would reset my router back to factory settings and config it again, if you haven't already.

Try following this exactly if you haven't already, certainly sorted out my Belkin router for me: http://midnight.hushedcasket.com/2007/01/30/make-your-router-xbox-live-compatible/

Following that web link, when I configure the virtual servers there is still no change. And when I put the IP within DMZ it just fails between network and internet on the connection test.
Ill only reset it as a last resort, as I can't see tht really helping :S:S:S
My Belkin came with NAT open and we set it to moderate which we should be changing soon.
Did you set it to Strict or did it come like that?

correct and strict nat if you are invited to a party you may not be able to connect because of your nat.

Try port forwarding, I don't have the exact details or knowledge to tell you how to do it for your router, but google would be your friend.
