Right, i went on one of these free sms websites to send a quick text, i had to enter my mobile number onto the website, then about a month later they sent me a text saying, this service costs £6, or send stop to ...... to stop the service.

I want to know. If i use a £10 voucher on my sim, will the money just go straight as i put it on?

Top up but be ready to send the text as soon as possible, because these kinds of services always try and catch you out. The ones they advertise on MTV charge you like 7 quid a week its ridiculous. Just make sure you know what the number is and just text stop to it after you top up (unless it says you can stop the services for free, but knowing these people i'm going to go ahead and say that their going to charge a little for that text to squeeze the last bit of money out)

If you have already recieved a premium rate text, there will be whats called a "Hanging Balance" where they will take it out when the credit is there.
