Bad trip on acid [Archive]

I've heard off many people that if you do have a bad trip on acid, you get flashbacks of it for the rest of your life, how true is this?? please help urgently

My mate who had a bad trip said for a while after he used to but then they stopped and it wasn't very frequent anyway.

I wouldn't say the rest of your life but you'll get them for a few months atleast. Its not worth taking the risk.

You're not meant to do them if you have like mental anguishes because they increase the risk of bad trips. Nonetheless it's not gonna kill you.

My mum once told me a story of when she was younger she went to a friends and they were all doing acid but this one woman, she thought her hand was growing and growing and she had a panic attack over it. so yeeeeee.

The thing you need to realise about psychadelic drugs is that they feed off what your brain's already doing. If you're not in a good mood when you take it chances are you could have a pretty nightmarish trip - and this CAN happen even in a perfect mood, because your surroundings are also taken into consideration and also anything you might have repressed from the past. In my view it certainly shouldn't be used as a party drug, only exploratory.

People who take a lot of it over a long period of time really end up pretty pickled.
It is true u can have flashbacks to trips but this is quite rare and tends to only happen if u take a lot.

and iv seen someone try to peel ther skin off cos they thought they were an orange. hes still gt a scar on his arm. bout 4 lads had 2 hold him down to stop him cos he was just ripping at his skin with his nails as hard as possible

My mate the other day on Salvia (35x) was sat there, said 'I don't feel anything', moaned twice and then just sat perfectly still for a couple of minutes before starting to cry.

pretty much. you have to plan it out if you wanna take acid. unfortunately i havent done acid (yet) but i have done mushrooms. do it with someone, but dont go to places with a lot of people.

Don't take acid if you are depressed, upset, scared, nervous, angry etc... usually when you get addicted you feel like this and take acid to relieve yourself but the reason for this is if you are in a bad mood/scared etc and take acid you most likely have a bad trip.

i've taken acid probably five times, one or two bad trips ... not really that many flashbacks. maybe three or four really 'real' flashbacks. not something i'm interested in doing more, though.

I was at high school a few years back, and I was out in our smoke pit, which was essentially where the teachers parked their cars, their cars doubling as ash trays.

Some guy just out of the blue starts running back and forth alongside this fence, running his hand up and down it, and giggling like a ******.

I walked over and asked his friend what the hell he was doing.

He just looked at me and said "Acid flashback"

I started laughing.

It can happen, no denying it.
I get weird flashbacks in my dreams (only about every 3 months) to this bad trip where everyone got killed by gallons of Marmite. And it was my fault 'cuz I was the king of China... But I was 'tarded.
Don't know if this is as bad as what you get...

I had a flashback a month after taking **** loads of LSA caps, was a bad experience though where I thought I was dead and puked all night

er well no probably not, really. I mean if you were in like an average mood one day, hell yeah take it, and plan it out nice. like if youre really always just pissed off that sucks but acid wont help with that i dont think.

e will help with that, though.
