If you think it's great now at episode 7 just wait until you get into the 20s.

It's pretty good, I don't like how half of it is original anime only material though. If you're going to adapt a manga, atleast adapt it right. The manga parts are superb however. It really dragged me in, but started to go downhill when it got to like episode 35.

Stein is one of my favourite characters ever, he's insane. While Soul Eater has awesome characters though, it also has some of the most annoying characters ever created. Excalibur for example. Worst character ever, I hate him. Mizune pisses me off as well. The main antagonist in the series is excellent though. Love the villain! Don't think you've got to that part yet though...

Soul Eater is worth it for episode 23 and 24 alone.

Wait, up until one episode does it drop the manga storyline and do you think they'll ever return to it. There is a rumour that Season1 is 51 episodes and not the entire series. They are apparently making a season 2.

Also, I really hope they don't. It'll absolutely suck if they make another season since the last 15 episodes of the first one would have been anime only and it would put things all out of balance. That's like doing another season of Claymore. I doubt they'd do another season after dropping the manga plot anyway.

Excalibur is the most annoying character ever. He pisses me off so much, I skipped all the filler episodes with him in. He's annoying to look at.

It actually can. From what I've seen and read, the manga is superior. Manga's are mostly always better.

And seeing how i think Funi do awesome with there dubs and dvds ill be buying and watching then. since subs will be more accurate. so if season 1 is 51 eps thats 13 ep dvds. But Novemember is AGES away ;-; o well gives me an excuse to watch other series.

I don't know dammit. I've never read the manga and stopped watching Soul Eater at episode 34. I think it's around episode 38/39 where it starts to go off into it's own original story.

Finally gonna try and finish it this weekend. I'm on episode 43 right now, but won't be able to watch a huge number of episodes until sunday.

Wow, I just realised how long I put off watching Soul Eater. Like five months. Also, nah sorry. Every after episode 25 sucks. Nothing can redeem it now unless Medusa rules the world.
