MissAlice for HxHD Manager?!

Hiya.

I don't actually know who the help desk manager is these days (think it's nvrspk? :S)...

But anyway, in the thread about the new opening of the HxHD and just by knowing Alice in general I really think what the help desk needs is the sort of guidance and management from someone with a wealth of experience in this area. Clearly, this is Alice.

I think Habbox should seriously consider allowing her to take over as help desk manager, or at least Assistant Manager as the absence of a full time manager is definitely having a negative impact upon what was once the most popular help desks on Habbo.

I think this will not only improve our overall community department, but it will also help improve Habbox reputation as an official fansite further.

So - MissAlice for Help Desk manager anyone?

I donno lol, but she would obviously have to and that would be something she could consider if they decided to offer her the position.

I am not saying she should defo just do it and of, i mean Habbox should consider her and give her the opp and she could then decide whether or not to. :)

Alice told me she wouldn't be interested in working for Hx again and has turned down numerous jobs however I think she'd be great - not sure if she has the time etc but she would certainly turn it around and if she was interested then that'd be great for habbox and HxHD. The current manager is Jaiisun not nvrspk4, lol.

Yeh fair enough she might have things on or like not wanna or whatever, thought I would just make a thread though expressing how someone with her capabilities is what that help desk needs right now.

Like I have already said twice now, it was a general post just saying how I feel that someone with the characteristics Alice holds is what she needs. It's not offering her a job career for the rest of her life, it was me giving the forum some feedback based upon my opinions (hey isn't what this forum is for? :rolleyes:)

I said already, if Alice doesn't have time or she doesn't want to then fair do's - but it would be interesting to maybe offer her the role and let her consider it, or if not her maybe someone else who possesses similair qualities as her.

I am flattered, but my heart is no longer in Habbo, so I'm sorry to say a really nice thought, but it's not for me. I do think the changes I've read about look promising. A smaller team of willing helpers is all that HxHD ever needed. I've no idea what the criteria is for being part of the team, but I do think it needs to be re-written based on what I have seen on the just the forum alone. I don't wish to criticise any individual but it does need a good shake up. As a side note, Chaingang impresses me too :)

However, surely any manager who didn't have good qualities would have been replaced? so maybe we can't see the behind the scenes work Jaiisun does. :D

Jaiisun is more than capable of being manager. He has good manager qualities he isn't as active as some previous managers and I think that it does need a very active manager to get staff in there.

Although I know this wasn't intended as a jab at the current management, I can see how it could be interpreted as that. I'm also surprised to see other managers coming and agreeing as I'm sure they wouldn't like to come on and see a thread saying they should be replaced.

Our current management is fine, and I think we should give them a bit of time to adjust to the new setting they are in before we make snap criticisms - the new desk has only been open for 3 days!

If HxHD is ever in need of management and Alice wants to she would probably do good. If you don't really visit the help desk that often it's understandable that you never really knew who was the manager (if someone asked me who managed HxLive I couldn't tell you:P). Though, Jay is the 6th staff on the staff list.

You may want to watch how you talk to my staff on this forum as we welcome feedback, not just generally being rude.

You haven't accepted that LeahRAWRR was made Assistant Manager. The sooner you do, the sooner you'll be able to see that myself, Leah and the General Management are doing the very best we can to ensure that HxHD remains as popular as it once was.

So, please (a) give it time and (b) refrain from being rude to others on the forum (especially my staff! :P).

I'm the current HxHD manager, Jay - nice to meet you! I can't say I've seen you in the desk, sadly. However, in my own defence, I'll say that some, newer staff and visitors may not know who MissAlice is (unlikely, I know)... but it's not a case of popularity since the room owner always gets the main popularity, whilst the manager keeps everything ticking!

With that said, I wouldn't even attempt to dispute that MissAlice would make an amazing HxHD Manager if management is ever needed.

Seeing as you don't play habbo I find it hard to believe that you know who did what in the desk. Also you weren't staff so you don't know what I did on the forum. Resulting in you having no proof of what I or anybody else has done.

I don't know how many staff there were until the recent changes, but I do know that when I was an X Team Leader looking after a team of 10 and being at what seemed like everyones beck and call was extremely demanding at times. So I do think with a smaller team in HxHD it should become quite manageable, and Jaiisun (sorry if I spelt your name wrong) will hopefully choose the best staff and should be given support he needs, it's a new beginning, so let's give him the chance to show why he was chosen.

For the record I made no suggestion about new management in the department, I only mentioned Chaingang because I do feel he was/is a good member of the team, and have noticed he's not posted much of late, which is a great pity.

If I had wanted to run a help desk, I suppose I could of easily done so, but I wanted a break. I can still help and do when I can, but as a free agent :)

Yeah I've been a bit busy with exams and been using a PSP to view the Forum so haven't had a chance too :P

It would be great to have Alice as manager and from what I've seen and heard I think she would do a great job, however, as said above by Alice herself, she doesn't want to be Habbox staff again so I guess that's solved :) Also the current management are capable of doing a good job, and hopefully this new era of the Desk will proove to be successful :D

Oh and Ross does go into his Help Desk a fair bit to be fair :)
