trying to achieve the M3 criteria
but im stuck haha

anyone give sme some ideas of how sale techniques and customer serivce have developed within a retail organisation?

and then ill explain them from there :).

Well I guess sale techniques have totally changed thanks to the internet. You no longer have to go round doors trying to rile up customers, but thanks to the internet you have direct access to literally millions of potential customers constantly and can try and entice them into a sale through many ways.
Other new sale methods are the use of bundling which you can utilise to try and lock in customers. For instance, phone companies such as O2 can try and offer you 500 free texts as part of a sales method to get you as a customer as opposed to a competitor.
