Well seeing as nothing in my life is straight forward, i thought a month in advance to me going on holiday i would check my passport and ehic card.
Well
theyve spelt my name wrong on the Ehic card,
and my passport has expired
LOL
:(
I've sent off for my new passport now, do you think i will get it for the 14th february. Well 13th because i travel morning of 14th.
And my Ehic card, will it make a difference?!
god lol :(

Well good job you noticed in time that your passport expires, I think you have every chance of it arriving in plenty of time. As for your EHIC Card, why not give them a ring and ask if it's a problem: Apply by phone - call 0845 606 2030. Your card will be delivered within 10 days.

The EHIC card is valid for about 4 weeks when you go somewhere in Europe.

I applied this time last year, and had complications over my birth certificate, which eventually was resolved, after getting a duplicate, and the whole process was very speedy, it's a good time of year, and since your one is a renewal should be relatively easy to re-issue. You can ring them, and ask what stage your renewal is at, so maybe to put your mind at ease, give them a call.

went on the passport website and for renewal, theres a fast track option but i duno if u can call up n see if u can change to that option (probably for extra charge) but if u dnt think u'll get ur passport in time, then its worth a try.

I think you have a reasonable chance of getting it well before then. As it's not your first passport i don't think they take as long.
