is there a cable ican get so i can connect my laptop to my tv so i can watch things online i noticed my tv can be used as a pc monitor soi was wondering if it would work with my laptop ??? if so what lead do i buy ??

Is there a port on the back of your laptop to allow an external monitor to be plugged in? (most do) then get a VGA cable and plug it in.

Sorry to hijack your thread mate, but I've got an HDMI port on my laptop, can you do it via that also?

Im guessing you can if your Tv has HDMI connection.
