he's just holding out for complete control of transfers isnt he? he wont get it. he'll have to accept it or move on, the board comes before coaches.

First of all he has 18 months so if he leaves it wont be anytime soon.

He rejected cause he wants FULL control of transfers.

If he signs a new contract it will be for 5 years.

Or he might of Rejected the Contract because Sir Alex might be retiring in 2 years time. He wants to be our Manager! Most likely Jose will be our next one though.

He always said he was a huge fan of united, i mean who can blame him. ;)

haha it's only because he wants more control and doesn't want to have to go to parry about everything, that's how it should be manager in control of all club affairs

He might move to Madrid. The lure of coaching Ronaldo might be a bit hard to turn down.

I don't know about you but crap managers don't get their team to the top of the premier league.

A fluke? Never heard such a thing! :P

Well you gotta admit some of Liverpool's wins was just pure luck. Some in the 85-95
minute. Some in the last few seconds. They probs had 15 pure luck points.

He wont leave us, he'll sign a new contract soon. I think it's because he isnt getting along with the owners because they promised us things they did not make a reality. Maybe he's trying to make out he would leave us but I know he wouldn't. :)

What it is is rick parry the liverpool chairman wants to make all the descisions, there where roumers round here that it was parry who signed keane and benitez wanted barry. Rafa benitez is ok with tom hicks, hicks came out today and said that everything will be sorted and benitez should be here for the next 5 years, but i've also heard he may be forced to leave due to ill health.

People seem to forget how bad alex ferguson done in his first 5 years, look at the team benitez won the champions league with, no other manager could have done that-FACT
