Hey,

I was wandering what server (E.G. mySQL, firebird etc) is best to use on sam, and also what sam is best *2/3/4*

SAM 2 definately and I believe its Firebird but not too sure

Sam 2 with MySQL - even on vista.

Works perfectly, never had any problems installing or with the software at all.

I'd say mysql, seems to be a lot better than firebird.

Myself i agree with ryan. I run sam in VM fusions and SQL seems faster.

Dom, don't dare go for SAM3 or 4, there's been recordings of them crashing often.
MySQL + SAM2 = amazing

Sam 2 is the best in my opinion, and with that your only option is MYSQL, but it installs it automatically and sets it up automatically for you. So i'd use that
