Hiya
This has been bugging me since Christmas so hopefully someone on here can help me.
I've bought a phone from Vodafone (well, my mum) and we want to put this other SIM from T-Mobile in it, however, it keeps saying "Insert Valid SIM Card".
We reckon the phone needs to be unlocked, but we don't know how.
Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks. :)

if you don't know what you're doing don't, you can brake it.
Take it to vodafone shop, they'll do it for under £10

pfft, dont u have phone unlockers in ur market place ?
or go to a big market, theres always somebody with a big flashing led sign

even ur local pc store might do it.

Vodafone are under no obligation to unlock it at the minute as the loss they made selling you the phone is made up on what you spend. OFCOM say after a reasonable time and amount spent they are obliged to unlock the phone for free for you, This is usually around 6 months and £150 spend on pay as you go

Go to the market get it done there

Real question is why t-mobile? Coverage, Customer care and prices are awful
