Cant wait for Skate 2, thinking of asking my mum to pre-order from Amazon so I can get the in game throwback pack.

Dissapointed, didn't really like the first one. Thought it just wasn't funny & way too frustrating.

Tried the demo for the second, it seemed very much the same.

I like it, and the new tricks are very nice and easy to use, cant wait to get it, I'll probably have to get it for my birthday.

My friends are saying it's just Skate with new maps. I'll try out the demo soon if I can be bothered to download it.

I'm probably not going to get it anytime soon as I've been saving up for an iPod touch xD

i cant really bother learning all the controls with moving the stick perfectly to get a cute little simple ollie nonetheless anything challenging.
first one was frustrating

Yeah, it's pretty much the same, I forgot on Skate. you could walk and move rails and build a little spot for people online to try and get the highest score on, the first game was fun, if you're into skating and such.

Just watched the Skate 2 intro, I thought Skate 1s was better. That was a brilliant intro.

The PS3 version, same as xbox apart from a minor framerate issue is great, the framerate drops a tiny bit but I can get used to that, love it. Just played in 'The Stadium' with my brother. God that was fun.

The first was amazing, and this will be an improvement with the fact you can move ranks and new modes, obviously just not a fan of skating games. ;)

I love skating games, i've had every single tony hawks and i played the first sakte for ages.

They've messed this up though, the walking controls are sluggish and crap, the stupid "bailout" thing gets in the way, especially when you're button smashing to try and get a good enough score and the video editor in this one is ****

Yeah the guy does walk a bit crap but everything can't be to your perfections and a lot of people enjoy the ability to actually walk instead of skating round for ages to get ontop of some stairs again :P (If they forget to place marker)

Yeah the bailing out feature does ruin tricks by accident. But I can't wait to get it for my Birthday, only a month away :/

Skate 2 is in every way much better than Skate.

The Hall of Meat challenges are awesome, and if you complete them all you get an acheevo and also Dem Bonez (from Skate) as a skater.

If you buy the Time is Money pack for 400MSP everythings unlocked, including all clothing, decks, etc. I'm only a Pro rank online, yet, I'm wearing the Online Icon crown and necklace. It's hilarious having people ask me if I hacked the game xD

I wouldn't pay 600MSP for that camera angle pack though, just because it apparently adds some new gear and watermarking, and also making vids that are 5 mins long.

However, I'm gonna get it there.

Saw you online, you had to do that pump twice thing then off the board then back on bail trick to launch you in the air for more cannon balls etc because you suck at the game :)

That glitch has ruined HOM for me, I used to enjoy it a lot before that.

I hope they do an update for it, people do it and ruin it to cheat to get the badges to rank up, but I always do it legit and end up scoring more than them, it's jokes haha :P
