Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop Touchpad playing up.

Hi,
Got my Dell Vostro 1500 laptop in August and it has been totally fine until the other day, when my touchpad gave up on me.

The touchpad itself is fine, it just doesn't work.. i've tried reinstalling the drivers numerous times and taking the battery out and pressing the startup button. The Dell support suite is a total waste of time & i'm not risking sending my laptop to dell for repairs and getting it back in a few months! :@

Anyone had this problem..? Know how to resolve it? :D

You will recive little to none help from dell, even if you have purchesed the extensive warranty, try re installing the drivers, and giving it a good clean
