Do they have unhealthy snacks?! At my secondary school they had nothing unhealthy but at my 6th form they have vending machines with choccy bars / coke etc.

Well, in like 02-05 they did at school but then they all got removed, But you were still able to buy a Milky Way, Due to the head teacher liking them. But college has a shop with everything, and the village just from college has everything lol.

yeah my college basically has a corner shop within it lol, and coke vending machines outside classrooms on each floor

Nearly all the food at the canteen is healthy, apart from the breakfast menu.

But we have vending machines dotted around the college with chocolate, cookies, haribo, crisps, drinks :)

The college is in the town centre, so we can have anything from Chinese to erm, burgers?

When i first joined in year 7, you could buy crisps chocolate bars and TURKEY TWIZZLERS (Which i used to have daily ^^) Then about half way through year 7 they had a reform.. .Waffles where off the menu, no chocolate, No fizzy drinks, No Crisps, No Turkey Twizzlers (I cried!), No Salt available, No Chips No nothing

We have chips on a friday but where only allowed chips if we have them in a meal deal which has Chips with either Chicken or Fish, along with A yoghurt and a piece of fruit, with a fruit drink ^^ lol

Other than that its just sandwiches or hot chicken sandwiches... lol xD!

Yeah same as me. In year 7 get big fat cheeseburgers etc then people became worried about child obesity and made it salad/pasta or the highway which funnily enough got very repetitive.

Well at college we have: Tescos, Cafe Nero, Dominos, a bakery, Budgens and Subway.

I'll let you decide whether those shops lead to healthy meals or not :P

We had a vending machine in the canteen that was full of fair trade crap that no one liked cause it tasted horrible (not inferring that fair trade tastes horrible, just the food was), but in the vending machine in the sports hall had more junk food than we could ever want, that was until year 13 when they replaced it with healthy stuff like apple juice which wasn't bad, but the some of the health bars were foul!

At my school, they have one vending machine for drinks, their is water, orange/apple juice and hi5 of w.e its called. At break in the canteen they serve pizza and panini's aswell as allday breakfast pastries. So not very healthy, but at lunch its mega healthy.

Not any more, I think they may still have chips but thick ones. They got rid of all the baguette vans, burger vans and made the canteen healthy eating. It was good in year 7, used to have popcorn chickhen and chips but they just ruined it. :(

we used to have vending machines just full of junk food. but in the cafeteria now they have healthier things. i mean they still sell things like cakes, cookies and dessert-type things but you can also buy actual lunch-type things like sandwiches, fruit, panini's, pasta king, slices of pizza and garlic bread.

they sell these cheese and bean panini's, and they're reallyy good.

there used to be an ice-cream machine visiting the school. I went to the open day and thought- wow, great, and ice=cream machine. When I actually arrived it was gone because they had decided to be a "healthy school"

Theres two lines at my schools lunchroom.
One has the basic lunch like chicken patty, apple, milk blah blah blah.
other one has pizza, breadsticks, pepperoni bread, fries, chips, juice.
