Heya,

+rep for any helpers

When I go on "My Computer", I then try and click a drive it says "C:\resycled\bootmatrix.com is not a valid win32 application.

The drives work on the drop down at the top of my computer, but not when you double click them

:(

Run anti-virus and anti spyware programs.

I think I can fix this. Try these steps. As this has happened to me:

See Jim Eshelman's QuickFix page - http://aumha.org/a/quickfix.htm - and run Steps #1 through #5 (only) in the first section (only), exactly as specified.
Next, do the things that are listed in this article viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4075 (http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?f=30&t=4075)

Download/install Ad-Aware 2008 | Update Ad-Aware | Run a full scan | Have Ad-Aware "fix" anything found | Scan with HijackThis.

The file "bootmatrix.com" is a definite infector, as is the folder "resycled". It is actually a good thing that your system is telling you about this. You have to get guided help to look for and remove other malware too.
