The show that used to be Tonight with Trevor Mcdonald, I used to believe stories on there now I don't. My girlfriend's brothers friend (britnell) was on Tonight a couple of days ago, it was about recession. (It was the one where he agreed to pay £3000 and he did but then owed over £70,000).

The boy who was interviewed was TOLD to look sad and say that the recession has upset him. He was basically told what to say on the subject. Yet only a month ago he went to Leicester shopping and had £200+ from his dad?

I'm not saying that there family isn't in trouble. I just find it stupid that they basically tell them to slate the banks and make it sound worse than it actually is.

This happens on most television programmes to get viewers they needed to bend the truth to make stories more interesting.
