Why can't relationships be like the movies??
I mean in all my relationships the lads have been proper ******** they all want the same thing SEX!! and it's like god man don't you ever think about anything else than that and then when it's finally working out you start getting paranoid when he goes to town drinking or something because you think hes going to cheat and they are always ********s when there around there mates and act proper different.

Why don't they work out??

Because obviously everyone (especially girls) are obsessed with good looks. For some reason a heck of a lot always go with the pikeys, and the chavs. But if they're going to do that then it's their fault anyway.

No i'm not like that at all, i'm not obsessed with good looks either I would definatly pick personality over looks any day but dont get me wrong looks are kinda important because I have to be attracted to the person i'm going to be with and anyone who says looks arn't important are lieing. Also I think lads that act like theyre hard are pathetic they don't impress me one little bit. I like guys who have things in common with me wether they be goths,emo,trendy or chav and btw I hate labeling people because I hate being labled. I don't care what group of people that person hangs round with all I care about is the person i'm going to be spending the time with.

Looks are inportant, but not the most important thing in a relationship. In movie relationships actors are always good looking and have a good personality which doesn't happen much irl- Good lookig guy's heads are up their own arses and good personalitied guys aren't that good looking.

ive been with my girlfran 14 months. been pretty good, i dont think they can make a movie about us but weve only had a few rough patches.

and i hate it when girls say that they didnt realize how much of a jerk a guy is until theyre dating them. seriously, i can always tell if a guy is a complete ass almost instantly.

But to be fairr, all of the relationships iv've been in, one of us has liked the other more than they liked the other. I think a majority of people will never find a partner where they are both crazy about each other like the notebook, which is immense. I think later in life people realise it's about compromise.

yeah so i thought lol well i thought it was all perfect and it was like oh i just wanted to be with him forever idk i could never explain it it was such a weird but good feeling like never ever wanting to be away from him and i thought it was the same back but obviously not :(

but if there's an ugly person there is no way you're gonna get to know their personality. I've said it before, i aint gonna strike up a conversation with an ugly guy therefore i won't know/give a **** about what kinda personality they have. Saying that tho, i have dated some *****rs, only cause they make me laugh + are usually like bad boys or something ^_^ i guess that's where i go wrong tho, not giving people chances :P
