Well, i was Buying a Throne through Paypal.

This habbo called "She" said she had some Thrones, so i said can i have a look at your Thrones. She said ok.

Anyway i was in her room and she said she forgot her PP Pw so she said can she quickly make a new account - Me nothing thinking anything of it said ok then.

Anyway she made her account and i told her to pay up first but she refused as she said she has been scammed so many times going first.

So, me being daft decided to go first and i payed her £10.

So i payed her the £10 and do you know what the little **** did?

Kicked me out of the room.

Is there any point of reporting this to Paypal? (£10 is quite alot)

It's my fault. I'm such a ****. :@

The reason why i want first was because of her name. - Yeah quite stupid.

the moral of the story is dont buy thrones on paypal and earn them fairly

yes you can reverse your transaction since you paid her and recieved nothing in return.

You'll probably get a reply from Sulake for selling the furniture, I'm sure PP knows that its illegal to sell that stuff for money.

But do as above, reverse it.

Edit: Don't worry, I've told her/him to either pay back my tenner or give me the Throne.

1. Your thick

2. Paypal state in their terms that they have no legal obligations with virtual goods.

You shouldn't be using paypal anyway, it's a crap system but if your paypal is credit card funded you can just retrieve the payment

yh do a cashback and then release her details whcih can be gained from her paypal/ebay transaction and teach the ***** a lesson.

Also if you're going to buy habbo furni then you should do it with someone safe such as on HxF ^^.

I'm not thick. And just because you may have had problems with/using Paypal it doesn't mean they are a crap system. Oh and if you have a better system please do share it with me. ;)

On my account i have my recent transactions with -£10.00 deducted from account it says her/his name which is Sean Walsh but does not display Her name. Would i need to do a Cashback for me to see her details?

You can request to claim the money back and since its not on ebay or amazon or anything there is no proof you got the item so u will get it

You do not realise how easy it is to get that money back brother, you have lost NOTHING :D

Put a dispute on the 10 pounds, say the item was never recived, he cant proove anything as it was habbo, and your not allowed sell habbo

case closed and dispute won

You got scammed, you have to be dumb to a certain extent...

www.MoneyBookers.com (http://www.MoneyBookers.com)
Like paypal but no chargeback

I'm glad you lost £10, a well needed lesson. Never go first :)

My bank had a field day when I paid something through that, They said it was very insecure and open to fraudsters, Only the bank can sort your chargeback out with them.

I would recommend a escrow service if your asking me.

Oh thanks for stating the obvious.

MoneyBookers and other service's like MoneyBookers don't have the same service as Paypal for example, Paypal offer Cashback if you are Buying/Selling on Ebay, if you haven't received your item from the owner OR the "item" or wasn't quite the same as stated in the description. No other Service can match that atm.

That is why Paypal are the BEST system out there atm.

There is no Throne in there. Everything in there was put in by me.

So you admit you were in denial, thanks.

Although the idea behind the chargeback is good the intention it's abused in is usually wrong. Especially when It comes to virtual goods.

PayPal is only safe for the buyer and unsafe for the seller. Making it an unequal balance.

Services like MoneyBookers for example, are equally safe for seller and buyer.

For future reference if you decide to keep trading paypal for habbo items, you should read the following links:

http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=206480
http://sythe.org/showthread.php?t=149307

It's helpful for somewhat preventing getting scammed via paypal, though not 100% of course. The best for buying stuff in my opinion is just to use ebay and only buy from sellers who have a very high feedback rating :)
