View Full Version : 'working out'
Hey,
Basically, for a while now I have been doing crunches and situps/bicycle crunches/occasional press ups
I have been doing: 100 crunches and about 50 situps/bicycle crunches a night.
I'm try to get more tone on my body, I'm quite happy with my arms so aren't too bothered about them at the moment, but I am unsure if doing that every day will really help me. I'm wondering if I should do something else or add anything to the 'work out scheme'.
Any tips? :)!
Thanks, +REP to good comments.
Squats, squat thrusts, walk-aways, burpeys, planks, calf raises, triangle pushups, incline and decline pushups etc
There's loads of techniques you can do out their that can tone your body without using weights, just mentioned a few.

Yoga??
if you have a wii fit, use the muscle workouts on that..
Daily is too much. I'm not an expert on the subject but i'd say three to four times a week would suffice.

Daily? You need time to rest your muscles or they won't get bigger and stronger. This is what I do.
Monday - Biceps, triceps, forearms.
Tuesday - Break.
Wednesday - Bench press, incline bench press, chest flies.
Thursday - Break.
Friday - Shoulder shruggs, upright row, bent over row, lateral raises.
Saturday - Break.
Sunday - Break.
I also do 30 minutes running daily.

Just a little tip if you think you're brave enough:
If you really want to workout daily you could take a really, REALLY cold bath to repair your muscles.

I forgot to quote but its true about the resting. I stupidly pushed myself and did 1hour on my arms/shoulders for 2 days running. Today, I could hardly lift them LOL. Better stick to my rotor really.
Good luck Connor. We should go to same gym ;)
are you and tom having a buff competition or something?
