Whats going on.. really?

I started dating this guy about 2 weeks ago. At first i was unsure about him because hes really quiet and even worse cos i think he gets nervous round me. Hes really shy too and i can be quite bold when i want to be. Its always me who has to make the move really.

Well the times we've been out, ive planned and organised it etc. He asked me what i wanted to do this weekend, and i told him that he can organise it and surprise me, just to let me know what i need to bring, like how much money etc.

I ended up organising to go to the pics with some friends on friday (yesterday) and i took him too. For some reason, he never bothered saying anything about saturday, and its not half 7 saturday night and we didnt go anywhere or do anything.

I mean, i know hes letting me be in control because im a bit touch and go about when i want to go out n stuff, but when ive asked him to think of somewhere to go, and he cant even do that.. like... what on earth?

I think you're being a bit hard on him tbh, maybe he just didn't think there was anywhere decent to go?

Maybe he's got used to you always being the one to arrange things, let him know you want him to arrange something and not leave you waiting?

I was a bit like this ages ago, I think it's maybe because he wants it to be something that you'll definantely want to do, if he picks it, he wouldn't want you to go along and do something that you didn't want to do whereas if you pick it, he'll know it's something that you want to do and he won't mind either because he knows you're alright with it, well that was my theory anyway, but that was when I was very shy/unconfident, I've changed since then.. :P

well since the post, hes attempted to organise a few things.

one was to go out for a drive in his friends car - who is a big chav and a bit of a careless driver.

another was to go up town, but neither of us needed to go up for anything inparticular so it would have been walking round doing nothing really

eventually i gave him so help n hinted at a few things n he organised for me to go to his house and beat him on the xbox :]
