It was a bit odd that they made a fuss about the speech in the first time that they forgot the Bible when they did it the second time... Not really that surprising :P

I doubt they forgot it, probably just didn't want to use it. There's no point swearing by God if he means **** all to you, is there?

Seeing as he goes to church, i'm sure he believes in god :rolleyes:...

And it probably has always been like that AND it says it somewhere important (money i think it was) "In God We Trust" or something similar ;).

The bible isn't needed in the swearing in ceremony. Previous presidents have not used the bible.
