Right, ive just recovered my old PC.

It all works fine, however it seems to have a graphics problem of some sort I think. When logged into windows XP everything in the screen shudders left and right by about 1pixel.

Is something loose? as it only does it sometimes, other times its been perfect.

Only other explination is the screen, as im using a 20" LCD TV as a monitor for it the resolution is never going to be correct. Its at 800x600 now and is the best it can look.

Nothing seems to be overheating as I fixed the fan on there yesterday and everything is cool.

Any advice?

It depends on how you have it hooked up. Is it through an S-Video or are you using the cords that came with it.

Also, if you right click on your desktop and and click graphic properties or options, you should be able to toy around and see what you can get. If I know what your Graphics manager is I can help you even more. My graphics manager is; Intel Graphics Meadia Portable.

You can find out your graphics by doing this:

Right click my computer,
Click Properties
Click the Advanced tab
Click on the Perfomance Button
Look at the Visual Effects and See what is all un-ckecked and checked.
Make a list for me of everything that is or isnt checked.
But see if the settings is on "Use Windows Choose what is Best for my Computer"

Just tell me what I asked and we can go from there
